Yuvraj Singh apologized for using caste word for Dalits

Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has apologized for using the word caste for Dalits. Yuvraj said via Twitter that if his words hurt someone’s feelings, he apologizes for that.

Yuvraj Singh issued a statement on Twitter, writing, ‘I want to make it clear that I do not believe in any discrimination on the basis of color, caste, creed or gender. I have lived my life for the good of the people and want to live the same in the future, I respect every person, I understand that I was talking to my friends and at that time my point was taken incorrectly, which was inappropriate. As a responsible Indian, I want to say that if I inadvertently hurt someone by my words, I regret it. My love for the country and the people of the country will always be there. ‘

Let me tell you that there was an Instagram live chat session between Rohit Sharma and Yuvraj Singh a long time ago. During this time, he used a generic term, making fun of Yuzvendra Chahal. After which this video of Yuvraj became viral on social media. And people were demanding forgiveness from him.

In this case, a lawyer from Hisar had also filed a police complaint against Yuvraj. Advocate Rajat Kalsan, while talking about this, said that he has made a complaint to SP Hansi in which he has sought to register a case against Yuvraj Singh for making comments on social media against the Dalit society of India.

“This comment has been seen by the people of the entire Dalit society and this remark has hurt the sentiments of the Dalit community, not only of them”, Yuvi added.
