Unlock 2.0: The first meeting of the standing committee of Rajya Sabha will be held on July 10

The meetings in Bal Sansad House were closed due to the lockdown released due to Coronavirus. But now on 10 July, the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Science and Technology headed by Congress leader Jairam Ramesh is going to meet. Preparations regarding the coronavirus will be discussed in the meeting.

Senior government officials including senior scientific advisors to the government have been called for the meeting. On Friday, the Lok Sabha Secretariat said that the committees of the House can begin their meetings. To prevent the spread of coronavirus, a guideline such as maintaining a distance of six feet should be followed. To be present before the committee, the maximum number of Ministry, Department officials will be limited to five.
