Rajasthan: Sachin pilot fired as deputy chief minister

Sachin Pilot has been fired as the Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister and the state party chief along with two Rajasthan ministers who had recently joined the Pilot camp.

The announcement to sack the defying leader was announced by Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjeawal on Tuesday after Sachin Pilot didn’t attend a second meeting of the Rajasthan MLAs.

In the meeting, the CLP passed resolutions to terminate Sachin Pilot as the Rajasthan Congress president. It authorised CM Gehlot to remove Pilot as his deputy.

Successively, Ashok Gehlot terminated Sachin Pilot as the deputy CM. He also discarded two of the Pilot following ministers, identified as Ramesh Meena and Vishwendra Singh.

After Sachin Pilot was terminated as the state party chief, the Congress chose Govind Singh Dotasra as the Rajasthan PCC Chief.
