PM Modi’s Mann ki Baat: key highlights

While addressing the nation through the monthly programme ‘Mann ki Baat’, PM Narendra Modi said about various catastrophes faced by the country in the past few months and praised army which fought Chinese PLA in the brutal clash at the Galwan valley in Ladakh.

PM Modi also paid tributes to former Indian prime minister PV Narsimha Rao on his 99th birth anniversary. He highlighted that the former PM dedicated his whole life in the service of nation when he was teenager.

Key highlights;

•PM Narendra Modi said whatever the calamity faced by us, there is no reason to blame rest of the year 2020.

•The PM also spoke about becoming self reliant that is technologically Advanced.

•PM also said that being vocal about local is a great service to the nation as people from all over India are writing, echoing their support to the movement of making India self reliant.

•PM Modi praised the army personals for their sacrifices in Galwan Valley and said that the armed personnel stationed in those below zero temperatures of Himalayas did not allow the intruders to infringes the Indian sovereignty.

•PM Modi said India has turned crisis to opportunities of growth previously in its long history and encouraged the citizens to make the best of 2020.

•India needs to be strong and determined to forge global peace and unity, added PM Modi.
