BJP MP and Bhojpuri superstar Manoj Tiwari on Monday asked for a CBI inquiry into the suicide of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput and said that those coming from small towns always face discrimination in the Hindi film industry.
He said, “I would urge Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray to help the needy by recommending a CBI inquiry. There should be a high-level investigation into the circumstances leading to the suicide of the young actor,”
The Bharatiya Janata Party MP attended a prayer meeting organized by Sushant’s family at his residence in Patna on Monday (22 June). After expressing his condolences to the late actor’s family, the BJP leader reportedly told the media that he was in favor of a high-level inquiry into the incident.
