The Delhi government has come up with the policy and issued around 4.75 lakh e-tokens to buy liquor in the union terrority of Delhi so far.
Under the e-token service, government allowed customers with specfic time for purchasing alcohol keeping in mind the social distancing norms ouside liquor shops.
The e-token is sent on mobile phones of registered people. The new system was introduced on Thursday in the wake of long queues outside liquor vends and people not following social distancing norms there.
The Delhi government has allowed around 200 liquor shops to operate in the city.
Those who desires to get e-token can apply through this link www.qtoken.in where they are allotted specific time to purchase liquor after filing the details on the site.
